Bringing A Message Of Abba Father’s Love That Brings Fresh Hope And Healing To Those With Broken Hearts Due To
Either Spousal Loss Or Childhood Wounds
HISTORY & VISION
Repairing The Breach (RTB) Ministry was birthed in the heart of Jim McCorkle during March 2002. Abba Father worked through a series of unique events that led Jim to begin a ministry to those whose lives have been damaged due to the devastation of spousal loss. The first seminar was held in 2003. In 2005 Jim was led to include those whose hearts were broken due to childhood wounds.
This ministry grew out of the ashes of Jim’s own life after the dissolution of a marriage of 37 years. Therefore, he knows from personal experience the heart wrenching pain of divorce.
The death of a spouse and/or parent also has a negative impact upon the entire family. Jim experienced this agonizing loss as a child of 12 when his mother died of breast cancer and again at 24 when his father died of a heart attack.
Jim has also experienced God’s love and grace to overcome several major illnesses: polio in 1946, double bypass open-heart surgery in 1994, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer in its third stage in 1997, and heavy metal poisoning in 2002.
Jim and Susan met in March 2008 and were married the following July. Susan was raised in an alcoholic family and has also experienced both divorce and the death of a spouse. She has worked as an administrative assistant, much of it in church related fields. Susan is an excellent seamstress, loves to sing, and in 2015 discovered her calling to the healing ministry through Joan Hunter Ministries.
In June of 2011, after struggling for 5 years, Jim finally accepted the calling to begin teaching about Abba Father. You can read more about this in the Introductory Lesson on the Downloads page. Click here to go to the Downloads page.
Abba Father has used life’s difficulties to prepare Jim and Susan to understand grieving people and their need for Jesus to heal their broken hearts so they can once again enjoy fullness of life and be useful in the work of our Heavenly Father’s Kingdom!
